| As the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee prepares to set the 2028 presidential nominating calendar, the Nevada State Democratic Party submitted a proposal to be included in the early presidential primary nominating calendar and earn the first spot. We know that winning back the White House means elevating a union-strong, diverse, highly competitive battleground state. NV Dems’ proposal has garnered support from prominent leaders and organizations including Nevada’s federal delegation, Culinary Union 226, Nevada State AFL-CIO, and Somos Votantes.
